Canadarm lending a subsidiary of collins community credit union has an immediate opening for a participation manager.
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the organization in building, maintaining and monitoring a commercial loan portfolio comprised primarily of participated commercial real estate loansThe participation manager is responsible for successfully matching credit unions with participation loan opportunitiesThe participation manager monitors the loan pipeline to remain appraised of current and upcoming loan participation opportunitiesThe participation manager is responsible for tracking all loan participation progress, actively placing loans with credit union and bank participants through outbound phone calls and emails, and serves as the participation liaison between lenders and the cuosThe participation manager will work with the president of canadarm lending services to ensure that the vast majority of the loans made available for participation achieve the desired participation levels.
Incumbent will be an active member of the loan committeeSpecific skills and responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
Demonstrate enthusiastic support of corporate mission, core values and long-term objectivesPerforms duties within corporate bylaws, regulations, board of directors policies, established internal and external service standards and our work procedures.
Serve as primary point of contact in all loan participation activities of the cuso.
Manage credit union relationships as they pertain to whole loan and participation loan opportunities.
Maintain all participation tracking at the individual loan level as well as at the cuso levelCreation and generation of daily, weekly and monthly reporting is required.
Develop, implement, maintain and audit loan-level participation tracking and certification processes.
Active participation within the credit union/cuso community nationwide that promote relationship-building efforts.
Gain knowledge and understanding of the local and regional competitive market for commercial loans products.
Develop a thorough understanding of each of the loans offered for participationParticipation manager is primary point-of-contact and will be qualified to address participant’s loan structure questions in a timely and complete manner.
Track and monitor changes in compliance and regulatory guidelines impacting the organization work with local, state, and federal partners to develop policies impacting the organization.
