Description:
Colony display is seeking experienced independent contractors to support our clients with project based big box remodels throughout the east coast regionWe are a leading full-service retail merchandising organizationWe offer many opportunities within the retail, mass market, hardware, discount, convenience, and pharmacy locations.
Must have light commercial retail store reset/remodel experience, skills, and trade set, and be willing to work in a team setting.
Responsibilities
Read and acknowledge all scheduled plans prior to plan start date (sow)
Review all plan materials prior to conducting merchandising activities
Visit and complete work on the scheduled date of each plan
Take plans, blueprints, worksheets, and all other applicable materials on every scheduled store visit
Build/install displays
Merchandising
Audit stock
Photograph displays
Report store visit and activity the same day as the visit via electronic surveys
Return any paperwork or materials as indicated in the plan
Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with key store personnel
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
Merchandising, fixture installation, beam installation, signage, display building, demo and build gondolas, light carpentry, cabinetry installation, and other light commercial skills associated with big box remodels preferred.
Planogram (pog) or blueprint reading required
Self-motivated, self-sufficient, detail-oriented, organized and a problem solver
Positive attitude and good work ethic are essential
Must be comfortable interacting and communicating with the public and store personnel
Must be dependable
Must be computer literate with access to computer, internet, and printer
Must have camera phone or digital camera
Must be willing and able to enter surveys for work completed on the same day project/job was completed into our website.
Reliable transportation
Must provide own tools of the trade.
Courteous, polite, and professional, with good communication skills, both verbal and written
Willing to work as an independent contractor- liability insurance required.
Schedule
7 days a week
Day & overnight shifts
10-hour shift
