Role summary
Our community manager will serve as a bridge between comity labs and the communities using our technologiesThey will lead engagement efforts, provide energetic and empathetic support, and develop a deep understanding of our users.
We’re zealous about supporting communities and open-minded about the technologies that will enable thatOur community manager would ideally have some experience with blockchain, crypto, nfts, and/or web 3.0 and be ready to fully engage in pursuing our vision with intellectual honesty and curiosity.
Our ideal candidate has experience as a community ambassador/manager, exceptional communication skills, and fluency with social media channelsWe’re a new company in a dynamic and often disorienting space, so we’re looking for a proactive self-starter who can define success in the role and execute upon it.
Responsibilities
Develop a multichannel social media strategy with explicit success metrics and execute that strategy through organized posting schedules.
Cultivate relationships and build trust with community members.
Develop and lead community engagement initiatives: panels, workshops, etc.
Partner with colleagues and community members on content generation and delivery.
Participate in online conversation and present comity labs as an authentic and conscientious enabler of communities.
Inform our product roadmap with insights on the communities we serve.
Manage communication channels in which we engage with communities.
Monitor and communicate the efficacy of our social media strategy, highlighting and executing on opportunities for improvement.
Research, evaluate, and inform on social media trends and competitor behavior and their implications for comity labs.
About you
3+ years of experience in community and/or social media management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all formats.
Exceptional ability to develop relationships and build trust across diverse groups.
Strong organizational skills: time management, reliability, an eye for detail, empathy.
An intellectual curiosity and willingness to dive deep into a dynamic, complex space.
You are passionate about helping digital communities (daos, collectives, etc.).
You are thoughtful and open about your priorities, goals, and aspirations so we can help you achieve them.
You have specific passions outside of workWe like interesting people.
