Role responsibilities:
Conducts training classes for sales employees on the features and operation of mid to high complexity and/or several lines of products/technology, client tools, or sales processes, including intermediate and advanced soft skills.
Identifies training needs or gaps to set priorities.
May be responsible for design and update intermediate and advanced level training materials and courses based on client and/or internal needs, organizing the training content in a logical sequence for delivery.
Works with subject matter experts to help validate content is current and effective.
Analyzes and prepares training resources and materials, to deliver classes.
Analyzes training feedbacks from participants.
Conducts train the trainer`s sessions, as necessary.
Analyzes produces, and distributes training reports, as required.
Guides other trainers and assigns tasks.
Organizes and helps maintain up-to-date training course materials such as reference guides, handouts and visual materials
Conduct onboarding sessions for new sales associates
Conduct sales methodology training to both new associates and tenured.
Provide coaching of sales reps on sales methodology
Facilitate training sessions using proven adult learning techniques and training methods to meet learning objectives in classroom as well as in a virtual environment
Monitor learner response to training using surveys, feedback, and focus groups and make necessary changes to training materials or facilitation methods
Conduct needs and task analysis, scope projects, and continually evaluate the most effective training approach to meeting learning needs of departmental audiences and services
Conduct role play sessions “as the customer”
Background and experience:
Prefer 5-7 years of enterprise sales experience as a sales training specialist, corporate sales trainer or a similar role
Strong working knowledge of sales process and its best practices.
Proficiency in e-learning platforms.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to design effective sales training programs.
Ability to measure an employee`s performance.
Ability to motivate others to improve their skills.
Outstanding coaching and sales skills.
Excellent time management and customer service skills.
Excellent presentation skills.
Great interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask as and when required.
Sales experience preferred
Knowledge of franklin covey sales performance methodology preferred
