Summary
The senior solutions engineer will support a wide variety of products such as genesys within the product suite and applicationsThis position will also support third party hardware and software as needed within the total solution delivered to the customerThis position will work closely with other team members in a team environment troubleshooting and resolving product issuesThe senior solutions engineer will work escalated issues from customer in complex circumstancesThis position may be dedicated to customers depending on customer needs and requests.
Responsibilities:
Essential functions
Demonstrates product expertise
Troubleshoots issues within the environment also including sip & network
Assesses complex situations to make appropriate recommendations
Initiates and suggests process improvements to increase efficiencies for support of product solutions
Adheres to support processes and best practices
Prepares and/or reviews functional requirements documentation
Works with clients to facilitate their understanding of best practices for a voip telephony solution
Keeps apprised of new offerings and software updates from the manufacturer
Participates in the on-call rotation
Adapts to work within a team environment when needed
Qualifications: essential functions:
Provide genesys cloud implementation and support.
Dedicated engineer to one of convergeone`s customers.
Minimum 3 years of experience with genesys cloud.
Understand the business requirements in order to develop comprehensive solutions within the genesys cloud environment.
Assesses information to determine the essential needs and priorities of the business.
Will need a solid understanding of the following genesys cloud components:
Architect
General administration
Analytics and reports
Quality management
Data actions (strong experience with designing and configuring data actions for salesforce)
Desired/preferred qualifications
Technical 4-year bachelor degree
5 years experience with the voip product support
Icce or gcp certification from associated product focus such as genesys, etc.
