Full job description
We are looking for a georgia licensed pre-litigation personal injury associate attorney who will hit the ground running to provide our current and future clients with outstanding representationThe ideal candidate must have significant experience handling pre-litigation personal injury cases from start to finish as the candidate will oversee a pre-litigation teamWe are a results-oriented firm, so our team focuses on meeting revenue requirements – not billable hoursCurrently, this position is remote with some in-office requirementsCompetitive compensation available with benefitsThere is an opportunity for bonus compensation for those who can demonstrate their profitability.
Compensation:
$75,000 base+bonus
Responsibilities:
Develop case strategies and provide leadership and direction to paralegals, case managers, and legal assistants regarding pre-suit cases
Conduct bi-weekly new case review meetings and demand projection meetings with pre-lit team
Review and approve client settlement demands
Review and approve proposed settlement releases
Serve as the point of contact for staff regarding pre-suit matters
Negotiate client case settlements
Draft, review, and approve settlement statements and reductions for pre-suit matters
Conduct client settlement conferences
Draft and/or review pre-suit probate petitions and conduct probate hearings
Make litigation case recommendations to the litigation team
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must demonstrate the following
Experience negotiating personal injury settlements
Experience reviewing and drafting settlement releases
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be results-orientated and a team player
