Intermediate architectural designer w/ parametric expertise.
Location: downtown los angeles-ca, u.s.a.
Compensation-range: $60k to $85k/year doeThey can pay more!
Schedule: 3 days working onsite + 2 days working remotely.
Must be comfortable wearing a mask onsite.
Multi/bilingual candidates, preferred (e.gChinese/korean/hindi/armenian/russian/spanish).
Current knowledge of grasshopper - is a must!
Portfolio must include (current) grasshopper samples!
Revit and 3d studio max skills - are a plus!
Parametric skill & experience, needed for this opportunity.
Experience with mixed-use projects in a major metropolitan city, preferred.?
Candidates will be given preference if they`ve worked on archProjects designed for cities, such as: los angeles / houston / seoul / cdmx / n.yCity / hong kong / guangzhou / san francisco/ sydney/ milan.

The opportunity:
Looking for an intermediate architectural designer/drafter with parametric design project expertise who will work with project teams from the initiation of concepts through the preparation of design development on large scale, mixed-use and a variety of projects.??
Responsible to develop design concepts ideas and make presentation graphics.

Required qualifications/skill set:
Candidate must have at least a minimum 2 to 4 years/more of relevant work experience as an intermediate designer with:?
1A barch./marchDegree.
2Current knowledge and experience with grasshopper (and rhino) ? is a must!
3Skill in revit and 3ds max ? a plus.
4Proficiency in cad, illustrator, photoshop, lumion.
5A collaborative mind-set.
6Effective communication skills.
7Business development skills - helpful.
Responsibilities:
Execute design concepts through diagrams, 2d drawings, and 3d physical models under the direction of a design director / design principal and srDesigner pm.
May participate in design presentations.
May communicate with project team members and on occasion clients.
May coordinate work with consultants.
Format files and operate laser cutting and 3d modeling equipment.
Responsible for preparing design presentations.
Assist in organization of presentation material.
Responsible for preparation of dds.
Work environment:
Open office workstations.
Domestic and/or international travel maybe required.
