You are:

We are:
The noc and monitoring team, managing the entire it environment from infrastructure to the application and service levelThe team is the main information center of our it organization - if and when anything goes wrong, such as patching, backups, new release deployment or even a load test - we will know and monitor itThe team functions as tier 1.5, meaning they also work to fix issues before escalating and documenting themOur main goal is to be proactive, to always think `outside the box`, to implement creative solutions for issues and problems and to reduce the down time of our application and services by detecting the problem quicker, solving it quicker and thinking of ways to prevent it from reoccurring in the future.
You will:
Operate the monitoring systems, browsing through and ensuring the stability of the environment
Manage the events life-cycles – track each event from open to closure, notify the appropriate people when needed and update the event’s corresponding incidents accordingly
Perform level 1.5 operations when needed in an attempt to resolve incidents as soon as possible
Assist in building up knowledge management for the monitoring events by documenting useful information about events and incidents you’ve encountered
Assess and prioritize faults and respond or escalate accordingly
You have:
At least 2 years previous experience working in noc
Basic knowledge in sql, networking, linux & windows servers
Strong english (reading, writing, speaking) with great communication skills
Ability to work in 8 hour shifts, 5 days a week (7:30-15:30, 15:30-23:30, 23:30-7:30) as well as one week a month 23:30-7:30
It’s a bonus if you have:
Basic knowledge in monitoring systems (especially newrelic and solarwinds)
Experience with ticketing systems and elk
Experience in soc
