The kind of work you’ll be doing:
Remote, full-time salaried position to serve as arc specialist and manage and book travel arrangements for new and existing ministry clients (including air, hotel, car, rail, and cruise); maintain client relationships; maintain arc specialist certification; fulfill duties required by arc and designated by arrowhead as arc specialist, including supervision of travel agents’ ticketing activity; manage special travel arrangement projects; provide collaboration on pricing and marketing strategy for group events; expand client base of ministries served by researching and soliciting new business.
Qualifications include knowledge of travel and hospitality industry, service standards, and best practices; experience with gds reservation systems; understanding of sales and negotiation principles and methods; high level of customer service with ministry mindset.
Required experience:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of travel industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
