Primary duties/responsibilities include:

- you will be responsible for sewing jackets, t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, shorts, etc.
- precisely sew garments that meet measurements and follow standard manufacturing methods.
- speed is necessary but accuracy and quality is most important.
- understand how various fabrics along with threads will react in sewing.
- manage day to day responsibilities in a professional, positive, efficient and confidential manner.
- support other design colleagues as needed; must be flexible and committed to perform or complete job assignments during core working hours and daily responsibilities.
- thread machines and replace needles when needed.
- maintain proper care and maintenance of sewing machines

Qualifications/requirements include:

- 3 years or more of sewing experience is required, preferably with knowledge of apparelAbility to use different machines / operations, including industrial overlock, cover stitch, lock stitch, and walking foot.
- a good command of the english language, both verbal and written.
- professional presence and enthusiasmComplies with highest standards of business ethics.
- we are looking for remote start seamstresses as we find a perfect space for our operationYour own industrial serger & walking foot machine is a plus! we can work out any combination of remote/in person that you are hoping for.
