Sumo logic special operations (specops) is a team of security experts responsible for developing and applying cyber threat intelligence, technology, and tradecraft to conduct threat research and hunting for sumo logic cloud siem enterprise customersSpecops is by design a fast paced, demanding, and mission-focused teamSumo logic is in search of like-minded individuals to join specops and help take threat research and hunting to the next level.
Specops currently has an opportunity for a senior level threat analyst, and here`s what we`re looking for:
Experience:
At least 8-10 years professional experience in job field
Understanding of networking fundamentals, tcp/ip, and core protocols
Familiarity with network architecture and security infrastructure placement
Windows & linux operating systems (bonus for any command line skills)
Experience with at least one siem, and various edr and network technologies
Awareness of current adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures
Familiarity writing detection logic and triaging alerts
Experience with offensive tools is an advantage
Any software development or scripting languages also welcome
