As commercial counsel, you will join the rapidly growing legal team reporting to the legal director, americas commercial legalYou will provide legal support for databricks` u.sCommercial business, including negotiating commercial contracts, and solving issues relating to security and privacy, in addition to providing general legal support to databricks as an integrated part of the databricks global legal team.
The impact you will have:
Draft and negotiate complex, non-standard agreements governing innovative products and addressing cutting edge legal issues
Advise commercial sales teams on deal process and contract management
Understand saas, product, data security, and privacy process issues to guide the sales team during negotiations, and in many other contexts
Understand databricks` internal structures, product offerings, technology, security/data protection systems and policies to give you a foundation for providing support across all lines of business
Provide general legal support
What we look for:
Attorney with 4+ years of relevant experience
Relevant tech sector in-house legal experience
Understanding of cloud services, technology and professional services contracts
High-level negotiation and legal drafting skills
Solid knowledge of business process gained in-house relating to commercial, contract, intellectual property, and data privacy law
Experience managing workload in a high-pressure environment with competing demands
A desire to be part of a dynamic legal team supporting the recognized leader in processing big data in the cloud
