The role
The product owner, trade procurement is a technology professional who is responsible for leading the coordinated design, delivery and support of the applications critical to the processes for sourcing sellable goods through our global supplier networkThe product owner will support the global trade procurement and factory planning business teams by maintaining a functional roadmap aligned to the business objectives and coordinate with a multi-discipline technical team to build the solutions to support this roadmapA strong candidate for this role is knowledgeable of trade procurement and supplier/factory processes, has experience working with technical professionals and can maintain a spirit of collaboration with key stakeholders.
Your impact
The primary functions of this role are:
In collaboration with deckers business teams, suppliers and transportation partners, create/maintain product roadmaps of the technologies that support the business and drive change
Collaborate with diverse technical and qa professionals on solutions delivery and supporting through implementation of new features
Support the day-to-day operation of the trade procurement systems by troubleshooting issues and helping with the solutions that have been implemented.
Support cross functional initiatives
Who you are
Able to clearly present ideas and plans to business users and leadership
Able to analyze and reconcile business needs with product functionalities
Ability to conceptualize a data model expressed in multiple technical solutions
We’d love to hear from people with
5+ years of experience with trade procurement and supplier processes
Experience oracle ebs procurement and infor nexus (or similar supplier collaboration solutions)
Good organizational and time management skills
Experience working in waterfall and/or agile delivery methodologies
