Identify and cross-reference data elements between legacy accounting elements in gafs-bq and deams
Ensure accuracy of data converted within the extract, transfer and load (etl) process
Communicate with majcom and cocom points-of-contact to ensure all conversion are captured accurately
Collaborates with software engineers and other technical staff to articulate business rule definitions
Validates business rule application using software interfaces
Validates lines of accounting at transactional level are accurately depicted in the system for all lines of accounting, their associated data elements across all states of accounting
Qualifications: required:
Financial management budget experience with usafSpecifically familiar with gafs-bq and afm via cris as well as deams
Knowledge of what is required for command and base level analysts to scrutinize budget execution and administrative work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of a budget with different sources and types of funding is highly encouraged
Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skillsThe ability to communicate to analysts, senior leaders and technical staff
Possesses advanced understanding of the air force environment and financial management and accounting processes and procedures
Possesses a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across a large organization, managing diverse tasks, requirements and commitments.
Education:
Bachelor`s degree with a minimum of 4 years` experience in air force financial management or no degree with 8 years` experience in air force financial management
