The opportunity
Delaware north patina restaurant group is hiring a championship procurement manager, remote, to join the pga of america team based out of our global headquarters in buffalo, new yorkAs championship procurement manager, remote, you will serve as the main point of contact for all aspects of procurement including overseeing the day-to-day operations of our partnership with the pga of america, the functions of the procure to pay purchasing module, and oversight of several staff members.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain effective working relationships to increase operational efficiency within the team and for our client.
Define stakeholder needs to vet, identify, and onboard appropriate vendors for products, services, and equipment, as well as working with culinary leads to identify and source appropriate products in multiple buying regions.
Maintain compliance with company contracts and programs.
Establish trends based on historical information and use this data to forecast product and service needs.
Oversee and manage food, beverage, and disposables orders and receiving practices to ensure availability and quality products.
Oversee on-site commissary procurement team members and hourly staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
An understanding of general golf operations and the ability to relate client needs to effective management practices for food service procurement and operations.
5 years related experience in construction, business management, or sales.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills with advanced computer skills, excel, and related software programs.
Organizational skills and the ability to multitask and track multiple projects simultaneously.
General understanding of accounting practices for invoice management and interaction with payment systems.
