Delta faucet company (`dfc`) has an outstanding opportunity for a brand protection analyst within our growing ecommerce segment!
The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating, monitoring, and enforcing online third-party unauthorized sellers and trademark and copyright intellectual property infringementsThey will also assist in monitoring and enforcing minimum advertised price (`map`) and sales policies, managing relationships with enforcement vendors, and training internal and external partnersIn this role, you will also evaluate dfc`s policies` efficiency and review new applicants for online authorizationYou will serve an integral role in protecting dfc`s brand image and ensuring commitment to quality, customer service, and support is upheld across all sales channels.
Responsibilities:
Investigate, monitor, and enforce third-party unauthorized sellers
Monitor and enforce online trademark and copyright infringements
Manages quality control sample product buys through vendor and internal purchases.
Assists in monitoring and enforcing dfc`s map, sales, and product quality policies
Analyzes and communicates enforcement success rates to the ecommerce leadership team
Trains customers and agency personnel about policy structure
Handles logistics of policy modifications
Assists with managing outside legal counsel efforts
Collaborates with all sales channels to ensure policies are effectively communicated and implemented
Leads vendor relationships with third-party enforcement vendors
Performs competitive analysis
Evaluates new applicants for authorization approval
Challenges the current processes and strives for continuous improvement
Education and experience/skills:
The candidate will have a b.sIn a business related field and 3+ years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceThe candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess the ability to work within a fast-paced, often changing environmentAnalytical skills and proficiency in excel are required as this individual must be able to analyze and handle large data setsThe ideal candidate will be organized and process-drivenThe candidate should be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization and to customers across all channelsThis individual will be required to travel 3-4 times per yearThis position will report to the brand protection manager.
