Summary:
The candidate will join our integration platform team as software engineerAs an engineer on the integration platform team, your primary responsibilities will be to use deltek’s integration platform to design, develop, configure, implement, maintain and support (internal support) multi-directional integrations between deltek’s own solutions, and between deltek’s solutions and third-party applicationsYou will play an important part in the development and growth of deltek’s integration ecosystemYou will have a strong knowledge of software development and design practices in an agile environment and will have experience working to develop business‐critical applications for enterprise organization.
You are a developer with experience building enterprise full stack web applications, preferably in public and private cloud environmentsYou are an excellent communicator and collaborator who can work in a multi-product global isv with complex product requirements.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, implement, and maintain technical solutions for integrations between deltek products and between deltek products and third-party applications, in accordance with integration architecture best practices, standards and policies.
Liaise directly with product application engineering teams within deltek to support integration projects and to
Deliver customer value in the form of high-quality software components and services in adherence with policies on security, performance, longevity, and integration testing
Write, debug, and deploy code to production; deliver timely fixes
Produce accurate, unambiguous technical design specifications to the low-level details.
Contribute to agile ceremonies, scrum meetings i.e., daily stand-up, sprint planning, readouts, and retrospectivesAlso participate in improving team performance
Perform peer code reviews to ensure quality standardsUnderstand and follow coding conventions, architectures, and best practicesAssist more junior developers.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Experience developing and supporting integrations using ipaas solutions (such as mulesoft, boomi, webmethods.io), including esb/isb, api and web services development, soap/rest, event driven publish/subscribe model.
Well versed in system integration design and development
Track record of delivering technical integration designs to support projects
Strong communication skills when dealing with colleagues at all levels
Collaborative approach when working with multiple teams across disciplines
Good understanding of software design and usability for enterprise applications
Pragmatic thinker, able to balance user requirements while delivering excellent technical solutions.
Experience working with globally distributed software development teams (on-site and off-shore) supporting integrations and customizations between complex, enterprise-level solutions.
Knowledge of deltek customer business domains would be advantageous
