Electronics project/program manager – zeeland, mi -
Disher is currently looking for a project / program manager of electronics engineering with strong knowledge of hardware and software / firmware design principles to join our zeeland electronics engineering teamThis is an internal, full time roleThis role is not eligible for full-time remote work, although flexible work arrangements can be accommodated.

What you will get to do:

Lead a variety of projects and programs for multiple customers in various industries, with an emphasis on systems containing integrated electronics
Assist with quoting efforts for new projects: establish project timing, assist with resource allocation, and coordinate between cross-functional teams to ensure accurate estimations
Consistently track and communicate project status, critical path, changes, milestones, and stage gates through the utilization of scrum boards, gantt charts, and/or other project tools
Manage requirements, approvals, and plans at all phases of the project management process
Identify and problem-solve gaps and delays at every phase and across multiple projects.
Serve as technical leader on projects to delegate tasks to the right groups and resources and provide support to these teams
Plan, direct, and coordinate hardware and software design project
Provide input on the selection of outside vendors to optimally meet cost, timing, and quality objectives
What will make you successful:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or management discipline required (electrical or mechanical engineering preferred)
8+ years of project or program management experience successfully leading cross-functional teams of engineers required (either agile/scrum or pmp)
Certified scrum master or pmp certifications preferred
Firmware/software project management experience on mid- to large-sized projects required
Ability to travel to customer sites essential
Must have current and continuing right to work in the united states without sponsorship
