Use your expertise to help research, design, and evaluate new features in learn to read - duolingo abc, our literacy app for children!
We are looking for a graduate student or research assistant with expertise in early literacy, and experience conducting literature reviews as well as analyzing quantitative data.
This is a temporary freelance position (no benefits included)All work will be conducted remotely and hours are flexible.

Conduct literature reviews on early literacy and educational technology
Format and analyze data from learners who use our app
Give input on new feature development
Organize and maintain team files (e.gResearch papers)
You have...
M.aDegree in psychology, education or a related field (or currently enrolled in m.a/ phdProgram)
Experience conducting research on early (k-3) literacy education
Experience authoring research literature reviews
Experience using stats programs / programming languages (e.gR) for quantitative analyses applicable to large datasets
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Access to an ios device (iphone or ipad) to test prototypes of the app
Ability to work 5-10 hours per week
Exceptional candidates will have…
PhdIn education, psychology or a related field
Five years of experience conducting research on early literacy education
Qualitative data analysis skills
Some experience in early (k-3) literacy instruction
Experience working with educational technology
