SrAutomation engineer
The srAutomation engineer is responsible for providing development and production support to various layers of an active directory environmentThe ideal candidate will support the development and production support of on-demand requirements in response to new business enhancements, integration engagements, and currency activities.
The srAutomation engineer provides on-premise enterprise design, development, and support including identity management, access management, governance, compliance, process engineering & optimization within active directory.
Duties /responsibilities
Primary functions:
Responsible for producing quality code utilizing .net framework (c#, vb, and .net) and proficient in asp .net core, ms sql, and javascript.
Utilizes established development tools, guidelines, and conventions applicable to the design, development, and unit testing of applications including the use of visual studio, atlassian (jira, confluence, bitbucket).
Manages defect tracking system and works to resolve any issues/defects in the code for all applications.
Enhances existing systems by analyzing business objectives and preparing actions plans to support identified areas for modifications and improvements.
Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code and package, test and determine deployment strategies of all version releases.
Work with teammates in the migration of legacy applications to current technologies (ex.net/angular) --develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
Analyze and resolve technical and application problems while assessing opportunities for application and process improvement.
Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating the organization’s desired outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating relevant trends, and anticipating obstacles to accomplish business requirements.
Develop and maintain all documentation related to coding and any implementation issues to keep all parties involved.
Able to adhere to high-quality development and systems management principles while delivering solutions on time and on budget.
Coordination/compliance functions:
Coordinates/consults with subject matter experts throughout the organization; helping to arrive at a consensus to determine application requirements and outcomes while translating those into effective coding that best supports the applications, processes, and targeted users.
Provide support to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (i.e., hipaa and other privacy laws, pci and/or sarbanes-oxley, etc.) verifying necessary protocols are integrated into all large-scale global enterprise applications.
Handle system changes for signature updates, patches, and upgrades.
Requirements:
5+ years of design and/or development experience with .net, c#, asp .net core, angular, windows forms and sql, server in an n-tier architecture (client-server architecture) concept.
Must have on-premises active directory experience.
Must have experience with packet capture tools.
Must have powershell scripting experience.
Must have splunk data collection, reporting, and dashboarding experience.
Must have network tracing tools and packet captures experience.
Must have a solid understanding of ciphers and protocols.
Must have a solid understanding of microsoft active directory authentication processes (on-premise).
Must have experience with asp.net solutions, web interfaces, and powershell.
Experience with servicenow development.
Experience with virtual ip forwarders (vip).
Html, javascript, php, and similar web-based languages a plus.
Thorough understanding and ability to use software development life cycle (sdlc) – planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance along with agile methodologies for the creation of high-quality cost-effective products/applications.
Strong background in object-oriented development techniques, solution design patterns, and best practices – service oriented architecture (soa).
Database design and development (microsoft sql server); experience with web services—windows communication foundation (wcf) is a plus.
Experience with concurrent development source control (git) and continuous integration (jenkins or bamboo) is preferred.
Familiarity with cloud-based saas solutions and configurations for application security and performance is preferred.

Education requirements:
Bachelor’ degree or masters in information technology, software engineering or other related coursework is required.
.net framework certification and relevant hands-on experience.
Microsoft certified solutions developer (mcsd) is a plus.
Angular and angular js certification is a plus.
Additional requirements:
Must be able to provide proof of identity and ability to legally work in the united states.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of client and customer information with access to personnel and financial data.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time in a primarily sedentary typical office environment, but able to move about the workplace to meet with internal clients and other workers.
Must have the visual acuity of long hours in front of monitor and typing on a keyboard with multiple keystrokes a day.
