Edz systems is seeking an ios tester with passion for using technology to make a positive impact on our client’s projectsThese are contract engagements with opportunities with fortune 500 companiesThis role will work on a new and game changing application in the telecommunications industry.
As an ios developer you will be responsible for designing/coding creative and scalable systems and software solutions that address business/technical needs in an ever-changing competitive market.
Experience/technical skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the software development/testing space.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming.
Experience with axa (app experience analytics).
5 years of solid ios testing experience.
General quality assurance experience including test planning, functional testing, regressing testing, etc...
Experience writing multithreaded and networked apps or libraries.
Thorough conceptual and hands-on knowledge of architectural patterns and best practices relating to complex mobile and progressive web apps.
Required 5+ years of complex ios and/or android mobile application development experience.
Strong understanding of swift and/or kotlin & java.
Solid grasp of mobile networking and rest web services.
Experience and understanding of large and complex code bases and architectures.
Experience in api design, sdk architecture, and mobile software lifecycle development practices.
Familiarity with agile development methods (scrum/kanban).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ensure performance and quality of the application.
Collaborate with cross functional team to define and design the app.
Perform checks on correct functional team to define and design the app.
Responsible to help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Responsible for providing prototypes and proofs of concepts.
Use encryption tools to safeguard content.
Experience developing apps in telecommunications space is a huge plus.
Education
Bs degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.
Ios app development using: swift and/or android app development using: kotlin / java (all new development in kotlin).
Perform detailed technical design and implementation of complex ios and/or android applications.
Translate business requirements into technical requirements for large customer facing products (millions of users), starting from design through implementation.
Work closely with the product, ux/ui and backend teams to design, build and extend consumer facing new products, platforms, and features.
