Position overview
A revolution cannot be done alone, and we need the best and brightest talent to continue our growth into the new modern workplaceWe are looking to expand our team by hiring a new vp, software development hcm, a team player who is ready to make the role their own and bring their own ideas and innovations to the tableReporting to the chief technology officer, you will be supporting our product management team by working closely in collaboration development and product team for human capital management (hcm) softwareYou will be responsible for the overall product strategy, development and reliability, making sure that the teams move towards the right direction, meeting all project milestones and deliver superior results, both in tech and ux sides.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for the overall product strategy, development and reliability, making sure that the teams move towards the right direction, meeting all project milestones and deliver superior results in development of hcm product.
Having the overall product vision and translate it into actionable goals for your teams.
Day to day management of the team leads, including engineering, development, api integration, infrastructure and ux.
Ensuring the product roadmap runs smoothly, empowering the teams to do their best work.
Overseeing the application architecture, making sure scalability and reliability are built-into the technology.
Recruit, retain and develop the careers of talented technical professionals under your care.
Engage and lead the team in task planning, design discussions, usability tests, api integrations and code reviews.
Work across several businesses and global teams collaboratively to deploy customer-relevant hcm product.
About you
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering; mba or master’s degree preferred
10+ years of experience leading technical product management teams within a saas company
Experience with azure environment preferred
Experience with micro-services architecture is desired
Experience with java/nodejs/reactjs/reactnative development stack is highly desired
Well versed in web development best practice, such us clean code, scrum, and testing techniques.
Able to manage multidisciplinary global teams, orchestrating ux, development, infrastructure and api integration
Proven track record of developing complex multi-layer client enterprise architecture
Experience developing software solutions within hris, payroll, tax or payment process companies
Superior project management and product management skills
