Job description
The ellkay product team is seeking a product marketing manager & content writerThis role is a combination of content writing for web and collateral, technical writing, and product marketing and positioning.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer who approaches all messaging from the buyer’s perspective.
Must be a creative, energetic individual with a strong command of communicating in writing and in person, a fresh voice, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt that knowledge to professional documentation.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Understand the functionality, market value, and positioning of a suite of software product catering to various segments of the healthcare industry (including laboratories, payers, health it companies, and hospitals).
Understand market value and translate market intelligence and the competitive landscape into go-to-to-market product launch and readiness plans.
Craft clear, compelling copy for web and product collateral.
Conduct market/customer research in conjunction with the product team to gather insights about target personas, buyer needs and the purchasing decision process for new products and features
Work with product & technical managers to create and update product documentation.
Build compelling product decks to support sales teams.
Work closely with designer as well as independently to produce data flow visualizations and diagrams.
Create product value documents and collaborate with marketing communications to message product value across various platforms.
Light graphic design to update brochure content, create product slides for corporate decks, etc.
Perform other related work as assigned.

Excellent ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of an organization and external contacts, both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands.
Detail-oriented, execution-focused, and high energy level with high level of accuracy in record-keeping and follow-up.
Highly professional and personable
Education/training/experience:
Bachelor`s degree in a relevant field (marketing, communications, etc.)
3+ years of experience in marketing software applications
Experience in technical writing
Knowledge of healthcare industry desired
Excellent skills in microsoft word, powerpoint, excel
Experience with adobe products, including illustrator, photoshop, and indesign
Competent in graphic design
Html and css a plus
