Edovate learning corpIs looking for a passionate and results-driven graphic designer/marketing coordinatorThis position reports to the director of marketing and is fully remoteKey responsibilities and their applications are described below.
In all things, it is expected that the graphic designer/marketing coordinator will seek to
1) demonstrate a willingness to be a team player, considering the company`s best interest in all work-related decisions,
2) maintain good working relationships with all employees, contractors and members of management and
3) exemplify edovate`s core values in all interactions with students, families, co-workers, vendors, etc.
It is believed that these three key responsibilities will affect and inform decisions to be made in all other job areas.
Job responsibilities:
Graphic designer (75%)
Designing website landing pages, emails, pdfs, and other promotional and informational materials
Planning concepts by studying relevant brand and product information and materials
Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting for approval
Preparing finished work by operating necessary equipment and software
Coordinating and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders as necessary
Communicating with stakeholders about layout and design
Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements of existing materials when necessary
Marketing coordinator (25%)
Project management for marketing initiatives
Coordinating/communicating with outside agencies including but not limited to digital media, social, print shops, pr, etc.
Coordinating components of company trade shows
Administrative support
Additional marketing projects and tasks
Job skills & qualifications:
Bachelor`s or higher in graphic design or related field
One or more year`s experience working in graphic design or related field
Demonstrable graphic design skills with strong portfolio
Proficiency in multiple design software/tools including adobe creative suite
Willingness and ability to learn new software/tools as necessary
Strong eye for visual composition
Ability to give and receive constructive criticism
Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertisements, and multimedia design
Project management skills/experience
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritizing, time management and follow-up skills
Punctual and detail oriented
Positive, go-getter attitude
The ability to motivate and get results through others
Ability to effectively prepare and present information and respond to questions from groups of internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent customer service focus and professionalism; results driven
Ability to work under pressure with time constraints
