Elements massage is a brand leader in our industry whose success is based on a highly talented and client focused staff of licensed massage therapistsWe are seeking a high energy, detail-oriented regional talent acquisition manager to build brand awareness and long term relationships with experienced massage therapy practitioners, massage therapy students and local massage therapy school administrators/faculty for our 13 area locationsYou will build a recruiting pipeline to source our teams with highly skilled massage therapists eager to provide the best massage in the industryYou will focus on long term successful relationships and placements that will continue to build and promote our brand to fulfill one of our missions, which is to differentiate elements massage as the employer of choice in the chicago area.
Responsibilities
Act as a partner, consultant, and advisor to our owner team by developing and driving strategies and establishing and delivering on a recruiting plan to source new talent in a highly competitive market.
Design and drive the sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer process for all candidatesCoordinate the aforementioned activities as necessary with studio management.
Use your social networking skills to identify candidates and build the elements brand across the chicago area.
Strengthen existing and build new recruiting channels by building relationships with local massage therapy schools/colleges, school outplacement departments, local media, industry and local professional organizations/groups and all other potential sources of massage therapy professionals.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks in massage therapy organizations (i.eAmta/abmp), etc.
Drive new hiring policies and practices as requiredMonitor our competition in terms of compensation and benefits being offered in order to ensure that we remain competitive in our marketplace.
Qualifications & requirements
* must reside in the chicago area - while this is a remote position there will be a need to conduct relatively frequent in-person meetings with local chicago area elements owners and area massage school personnel.
2+ years of direct experience as a recruiter at an agency or massage industry specific recruiting is preferred
Adept at job ad placement, job board searches and other key sourcing techniques
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
Personable and professional demeanor, ability to relate to recent massage therapy program graduates, experienced massage professionals, massage industry educators, etc.
Regional travel as required which may include national conferences
Experience recruiting in the massage therapy and/or health & wellness industries is a plus
Bachelor’s degree desirable, but not required with the right experience

Performance based compensation package
Base salary $45,000 - $65,000 commensurate with background and experience
A meaningful performance based incentive bonus tied to massage therapist placementsStrong placement performance can result in an incentive bonus award up to or exceeding 50% of base salary.
