The marketing assistant, lighting is responsible for assisting the senior manager and lighting category team in the development and execution of marketing initiative including product development, packaging, and content/asset creation across all lighting brandsThe role has a focus on ecommerce with the incumbent expected to collaborate closely with other cross functional groups to deliver on the product, sales, brand and share goals for the lighting category.

Assists the lighting team in the development and execution of global product cycle plan, product development, creative content, and digital asset development in line with brand positioning and guidelines.
Liaises with relevant agencies as required to deliver on assets and content for the lighting team
Supports the coordination, development, and deployment of the annual global marketing plan
Leads collection of competitive review and completes competitive reviews and reporting for the total lighting category
Produces post launch reviews and captures learnings for new products across the lighting portfolio
Key contact ensuring the hive is kept updated
Provides the necessary marketing support across the entire lighting category team
Collaborates with cross-functional groups to deliver business results.
Is a lighting brand ambassador, helps represent the lighting category and brands across the organization.
May also perform additional duties as assigned.
Required skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree or above in business, marketing or similar discipline
Proficient in microsoft office, mainly powerpoint and excel
Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects/assignments
Ability to work independently with minimal instructions
Comfortable working on cross-functional teams
Self-motivated and highly adaptable to change
