Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain company safety policies
Coordinate compliance meeting with other team members
Follow-up on field workplace incidents
Complete safety reports and osha logs identify new options, manage and coordinate required anti-harassment training
Complete state quarterly reports
Complete annual eeo-1 reports
Work with contracts team to ensure client compliance
Follow-up with team on client`s compliance needs for proposals
Review leaves of absence documents
Oversee compliance software renewals and updates
Ensure appropriate notices are posted at the designated offices and provided to staff during the onboarding and offboarding process
Revise employee regional handbooks
Implement compliance policies as needed
Coordinate hr documents for annual soc compliance audit
Research international compliance
Facilitate h1-b research and compliance process
Research changes in compliance laws throughout the country
Ensure new states are set up to meet compliance standards
Manage erisa, 401k, esop and workers comp audits
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in an human resources or business related discipline
A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a compliance role
Strong writing and verbal communication skills
Ability to build trust and develop healthy working relationships with team members
Experience using microsoft office (excel, outlook, word and powerpoint)
Exceptional time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and juggle competing priorities with minimal guidance
Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, accountability, and ownership of assigned tasks
A proven professional or personal commitment to the betterment of the environment and the reduction of ghgs is a plus
