Role responsibilities:
Overall program manager for implementation of manufacturing and logistics systems
Engaging effectively with the senior leadership/executive team, providing accurate reporting of program status and milestones.
Ensure key business capabilities required for the outcomes are well-defined, underpinned by robust end-to-end business processes and appropriate future-proofed technology enablement.
Overseeing the development of a robust program structure, managing client relationships and project deliverables.
Providing strong leadership across the program team to direct, motivate, support, manage, and challenge as required to achieve the desired outcomesEnsure robust downwards communication as well as upwards communication.
Lead a senior multi-disciplined team including functional leads, value-chain leads, engineers, it professionals, marketers, and third-party suppliers.
Ensure accountabilities and responsibilities are well-defined and well-communicated across the program team, with robust on-going performance management in place.
Ensure ongoing and effective resource planning, cost forecasting and financial reporting, in line with agreed baselines and budgets for the program
Lead an ongoing robust governance model, to ensure the plan is tracked, risks and issues are well-managed, decisions are well-informed and timely, key stakeholders are all properly engaged, changes are well-managed.
Ensure program stages are well-managed with appropriate approvals and deliverables signed-off.
Oversee the design, development and commissioning of staged/interim and ‘final’ operating models to ensure the capability built (by the program) is transitioned smoothly into the bau (business-as-usual) operational environment, whereby the business benefits can we realized.
Bring professionalism, energy, and well-founded confidence, to create a culture where everyone feels engaged and motivated to play their full part in an exemplar and enjoyable programEnsure successes are marked and people feel part of a successful program and journey.
Ensure all planning artifacts/project documentation are safely and accurately stored and are accessible to everyone who needs access, and in readiness for assurance and audit.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical discipline
7+ years of software industry technical experience
5+ years of automotive manufacturing experience
Self-starter with the drive and conviction to do things right the first time
Proven track record of delivering reliable and scalable software solutions
Deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
Effective management of multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A thorough understanding of software development in a team and a strong track record of shipping software
Able to work in a diverse team
Experience with large scale systems
Desired qualifications:
Plant floor system experience a plus
