The updox/mdtech/alertmd group of brands, part of the everhealth within evercommerce, is looking for a business intelligence (bi) analyst to develop and implement strategic and analytic projects.
You:
You are an experienced bi analyst will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic analytic projects, that will contribute to different business objectivesThrough data analysis and knowledge management, as an individual contributor, you will build and maintain methodologies to deliver more complex analyses to the businessThis is an excellent opportunity for a strong bi analyst to have the opportunity to influence critical foundational questions as the business intelligence team grows.

Our teams are dispersed across the u.s., though the updox office is located in the heart of dublin, ohio at bridge parkWhile we’d prefer someone in the dublin, oh area, this role can be based anywhere in the united states – if you’re close to any evercommerce office, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotelyYou must be eligible to work in the united states without sponsorship to qualify for this role.
Responsibilities:
You will work with all levels of the organization to turn requirements into valuable insights and deliverables
Assist with the development of internal and external self-service reporting/dashboarding capabilities and products
Contribute to the development of advanced algorithms and metric definitions
Utilize sql querying experience to build efficient ad-hoc queries
Present solutions to a wide variety of audiences and srLeadership team
Explore new tools & technologies, make recommendations for improvements and strategic direction for business intelligence
Research business problems and create models that help analyze historical trending and options for solutions
Assist with data quality efforts, documentation, and socialization of terms and metrics
Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed
Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
Assist in the evaluation of the existing reporting outlets and strategic consolidation, and enhancement of existing sources and models
Requirements:
Bachelor`s degree in statistics, economics, business, information science or similar
2+ years of experience using mysql
2+ years of experience with bi visualization tools, data blending, and advanced statistical model generation
2+ years of experience with microsoft office
Experience with r, or python desired
Self-starter with experience in open source environmentsSomeone that is resourceful and creative in their solutioning.
Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
