The opportunity
Health ecareers is seeking a professional, creative, and versatile senior front-end engineer who’s passionate about what they’ve chosen to do for a livingThis is a great opportunity for a team player who already has experience designing, developing, and maintaining a production-level, public web site.
Key responsibilities
Write, document, test, and deliver scalable, high-quality software to architectural designs
Participate in requirements analysis, technical tasking, architectural planning, and standups
Troubleshoot and fix bugs quickly and efficiently
Practice active documentation for everything you work on
Collaborate with cross functional team members including qa, product, design and other engineers
Mentor and help guide junior team members to achieve technical goals
Review code commits with the goal towards improving the codebase
Job qualifications
8+ years of experience with javascript/es6, html and css
3+ years experience with one or more modern client-side javascript frameworks/libraries, such as angular.js, backbone.js, etcFor a public, production level website (or equivalent)
Experience securely integrating rest apis and working with the backend team on a full-stack solution.
Experience with asp.net mvc/razor a plus.
In-depth knowledge of responsive design and progressive enhancement
Firm understanding of complete application stack, including frameworks, design patterns and deploymentComfortable extending and working outside of existing frameworks.
Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
Comfortable communicating ideas to peers in the form of presentations
