Job summary
This role is responsible for end-to-end project management throughout the organizationSupport internal tech teams with all aspects of project management including project scope, role and task definition, success metrics, and deliverable cadenceEnsure operational excellence and high quality deliverablesIdentify risks early and partner with stakeholders to identify and execute mitigation strategies.
Projects will include standard tech processes (planning, daily standup, retro), marketing (campaigns, website launches), sales (client projects, opportunities) and operations (company wide initiatives)Candidate will own all scrum frameworks, tools and process flowsEmphasis on removing blockers for the tech team to ensure they are able to complete their projects in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
Revamp the engineering process to focus on reliable forecasting, balancing of workload per engineer and support through the sprint
Function as more than just a scrum master by owning the full project roadmap including pre-work timing and post-launch execution
Partner with engineering team in developing project forecasts, tracking progress and delivering features on time
Balance feature roadmap initiatives with infrastructure projects
Coordinate inter-project and inter-team dependencies and risks
Ensure project changes are documented and approved by feature lead
Run post-mortem reviews to identify learnings that will help improve the overall process
Problem solve, with other experts, the best approach to a problem and then build project plan to execute
Qualifications
5+ years of technical project management experience
Expertise with jira, confluence, github and other planning and tech tools
Operational excellence mind-set and experience.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and tasks
Proven track record of driving results
Experience solving complex problems with data
Familiarity with both agile and waterfall methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Passionate about technology and ability to work with engineering, customer support, marketing and sales teams
Ability to lead/influence cross-functional teams
Entrepreneurial spirit and a can-do attitude
