We are looking for a senior engineer in computer vision specializing in ai/ml for autonomous vehicle systems to join our research and development teamThis role will focus on the integration of ai/ml into exyn’s current perception pipeline to enable advanced capabilities such as object detection and semantic-metric mapping.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Working with the team to stand-up an internal pipeline for training application-specific ai/ml models using both public and privately generated data sets (3d lidar and imagery)
Maintaining the framework and extending it as needed to support new capabilities
Defining hardware and software needs for fielding embedded ai/ml models
Staying current in the literature and being the in-house expert in ai/ml!
What we`re looking for:
M.sIn computer science, robotics or a related field
3+ years experience developing and deploying ai/ml models for real-time systems
Experience working with and training models using 3d lidar or range-based sensing
Comfortable working as a cross-functional team of roboticists and software engineers.
Experience working with modern c++ and toolchains in a linux-based development environment.
We would also like to hear if you have:
Prior experience with robotics or traditional computer vision techniques
Have prior experience using deep-learning for non-traditional applications such as flight control or classification in degraded visual environments.
