The technical programs team in facebook’s security, integrity, and investigations organization is looking for an experienced program manager with a strong organizational background who is able develop internal program strategy balancing the needs of multiple stakeholdersThis position requires the experience to build expertise across a diverse set of focuses, develop plans with ecosystem partners, identify policy or program gaps and opportunities, and drive execution through influence or direct interventionThe candidate will exhibit strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams, and a rigorous, analytical and strategic approach to problem solvingThey will be responsible for evaluating and defining specific technology integrations and efficiencies within facebook’s legal department and trust & safety partnersThe ideal candidate will be comfortable working across complicated, often unrelated, operational/legal teams and systemsThey will also be comfortable managing and de-conflicting executive demands in a high demand and tight timeline environmentThis work will be accomplished by working closely with legal smes, engineering teams, third party vendors, teammates, and cross-functional partnersLastly, the candidate should have familiarity with or be willing to work on the intersection of tech, legal, compliance, and government mattersThis is a full-time position.
Own the new product program vision for our organization’s mission to ensure protection of user privacy and safety
Primary driver for identifying significant opportunities and disclosure impacts including new or changes to existing products across the family of applications
Builds consensus around roadmaps and how to evaluate success by managing the roadmap through tough tactical prioritization decisions while helping the organization think long-term
Collaborate across teams and peers of all levels by serving in the critical role in creating alignment between engineering teams and stakeholders
Measure success by defining success criteria and metrics at the inception of a product and tracking throughout its lifecycle
Display strong leadership, organizational and execution skills across the entire organization
Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
Work with peers of all levels from front line analysts to high level executives
Bachelor`s degree
4+ years of program or project management experience
Technical reporting experience
Bs/ms in a technology related area of study
Experience in trust & safety, privacy, legal, or security related fields
Experience weighing business requirements and priorities to produce project plans and estimates
Experience leading enterprise-wide engagements
