The senior design engineer is expected to perform more complex applications design, development projects and responsible tasks by effectively utilizing their greater experience with little direct supervisionIn addition, this position requires wider project management roles and/or specified
Software and associated hardware procurements for district-wide technical projectsFurther, the senior design engineer may assume a leadership role in order to direct the work of other it services staff as projects may dictate.
Develops conceptual, logical and physical it engineering designs, that support the infrastructure requirements of varying levels of technical and business application projectsCompletes analysis of business requirements, as it relates to technical infrastructure design, and ensure traceability of the design to the business requirementsAssesses testing requirements and prepares testing strategies, as well as preparing implementation and transition plansSenior level position requires a seasoned professional with a full understanding of industry practices.Requires high level of experience and proficiency in field.
