Full job description
Felhaber larson has an immediate opening for an associate attorney with 3 to 6 years of general litigation experienceThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven litigation experience and is looking for the next step in their litigation career.
This is a partner-track position and is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven litigation practice experienceSpecifically, this associate will be expected to handle the following types of tasks with minimal supervision:
Conduct legal research and draft research memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents;
Collaborate with partners on case strategy and tactics;
Draft discovery requests and responses to discovery requests;
Take and defend depositions; and
Prepare for hearings and trial.
The successful attorney’s skillset includes:
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written;
Excellent analytical skills; and
Aptitude to prioritize multiple responsibilities and a workload of diverse matters in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
Solid work ethic, sound legal judgment, initiative and versatility.
Requirements:
Juris doctor degree from an aba accredited law school; and
Licensed to practice law in the state of minnesota or ability to become licensed in minnesota within 3 months.
