Corporate paralegal

Position summary: finity seeks a paralegal to join its legal team as an integral part of their efforts to support the legal and compliance needs of the organization in our portland officeThe ideal person for this role will have experience assisting attorneys with corporate law mattersThe paralegal will ensure that contracts and other important documents are properly managed and communicated to other departmentsThe paralegal would work very closely with the general counsel on various legal and business initiativesIf you are looking for an opportunity to grow professionally at a growing company with a cohesive team that values communication, please apply.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating contract management system including drafting, review, communication and storage of contracts.
Drafting, filing and managing corporate organizational documents, licenses and other governmental documents.
Reviewing, tracking, and monitoring legislation that may impact the company’s clients, products or services.
Assist with ethics and compliance programs.
Responding to requests of information, subpoenas, and related documents.
Drafting correspondence and managing calendars of legal team.
Providing support to team members and departments throughout the company on legal and business projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or associates degree and paralegal certification
Proficient in microsoft office suite
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with hipaa privacy and security regulations and processes is preferred
