Human resources generalist

Recruitment and employment – job posting/advertising, background investigations and drug screens
Data entry into human resources software – new hires, terminations, payroll changes, updates
Personnel records - maintenance and storage
Labor relations - union and cba activities
Affirmation action plan data mining
Compliance reporting- eeoc, vets 100, workers compensation
Benefits administration – open enrollment and communication
Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures
Prepares internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Associate degree or equivalent, bachelor’s or shrm-cp certification is highly desired.
Five years of experience in human resources management or in a related area.
Knowledgeable in microsoft word, excel, power point.
Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
A high degree of concentration and multi-tasking is required.
Performs related responsibilities as assigned.
