Where you will work
This position is a hybrid position, with remote work as needed, and on-site work as neededOn-site work will be located in herndon, or springfield, va.
What you bring
Flexwind is looking for a full time front-end developer to provide development and systems engineering support to the client.
Responsibilities
Provide development which will also include new development using client’s approved technology stack.
Provide o&m support for 30+ web applications.
Utilize agile methodologies to plan and execute work.
Finesse application workflow architectures, redesign the existing client applications to add new features, optimize, scale, or improve stability and performance.
Help develop new and existing work, creating ui from scratch and updating ui to create a more cohesive look/feel and functionality.
User outreach and requirements gathering.
Required qualifications
Must have a ts/sci or higher (with ability to obtain a ci poly).
Experience in user experience.
Experience working in agile environments.
Extensive skills in javascript framework.
Ability to seamlessly integrate different applications.
Ability to support multiple projects/applications.
Experience in writing or implementing cascading style sheets (css).
Design experience creating and modifying layouts for web applications.
Experience interpreting requirements to map work flows, create wire frames and graphical mock-ups.
Experience working as a ui designer on a software development team.
Experience with graphic design.
Demonstrated experience learning new technologies and web environments.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Desired qualifications
Coordinating, supporting, and participating in program meetings and reviews.
Experience in react a plus.
Strong skills in html, and jquery desired.
