Overview of position
A successful candidate in this role will be responsible for defining, documenting, planning and implementing technology solutions to enable foreside business services achieve their strategic directives and mandates for our clientsThis person will be responsible to liaison between the business and the technology teams and utilize their knowledge of the business systems, processes, industry, and software development lifecycle to direct the execution of the technology projects.
Key responsibilities
Support investment compliance & regulatory review & tracking platforms at foreside that services client needs across multiple business verticals such as broker-dealers distribution, investment advisory compliance and financial operations.
Develop client facing technology solutions from inception to production working with multiple business teams and the development team.
Assist in development and enhancement of foreside’s client-facing technology platforms that cater to the company’s broker-dealer distribution and investment advisory services business.
Lead working sessions with business services teams at foreside to identify their strategic business needs and define scope for the technology enhancements and articulate them to the development team.
Decompose high level scope into business and functional requirements that can be understood by the stakeholders.
Drive the analysis of current processes and performing market research to deliver technology solutions with enhanced user experience.
Document project requirements and other project related documents by utilizing the established project management framework.
Direct the development of end user training plans, (business level) user acceptance test plans, and implementation plans; communicates to senior management and business representatives.
Responsible for reporting to senior management, including any potential or perceived violations of applicable laws, rules or company policies
Conducts self in a professional manner

Qualifications (personal, educational, experience)
Bachelor’s degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of related professional financial services and project management experience.
Background in software implementation in the financial services industry, preferably in investment compliance and/or fund distribution area, working as a business analyst and/or product owner.
Proven experience implementing financial systems using standardized sdlc methodologies and tools.
Superior communication, interpersonal, team collaboration and facilitation skills.
Very strong business analysis, requirements management and documentation skills.
Excellent client relationship management, project management and leadership skillsFamiliarity with wrike or other project management software is a plus.
Proficiency in excel, visio tools would be desired.

This position requires strong organizational skills, the use of a computer and other common office equipment throughout the day, and the ability to maintain mental focus.
Hours:
40 hours per week with ability to work additional hours as necessary to meet client needs.
