The research specialist team lead is a hybrid position with 50% responsibility for staff and work oversight and 50% responsibility in performing research and q/a.
Responsibilities for the research specialist team lead:
Assist in establishing, monitoring, and meeting departmental goals
Ensure assigned employees comply with designated policies and procedures
Ensure assigned employees meet quality and tat benchmarks
Conduct regular analysis of workflow and systems and notify management of potential improvements/efficiencies in technology, process and data security
Oversee and interact with in-house researchers and vendors in domestic and international research
Interact with other managers and supervisors as departmental liaison
Assist in the resolution of client complaints, rechecks and consumer disputes
Assist with internal and vended court search audits
Assist with maintaining all required vendor documentation, including agreements, insurance, licensing, rate, and court fee sheets
Perform assigned research daily and provide back-up coverage as needed for volume surges and absences
Assist in writing and maintaining data center procedures
Embody the corporate core values and lead with positivity and integrity
Requirements:
Skills/knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or minimum 2 years team lead experience in consumer reporting data research field
Experience leading a high performing team
Knowledge of legal and court terminology
Effective verbal and written communication
Ability to produce within deadlines and environmental pressures
Attention to detail
Organized
Energetic self starter
Strong technical aptitude in word, outlook, excel and powerpoint
Ability to troubleshoot and discern when escalation is necessary
Pbsa basic fcra certification
