Gdit is seeking a procurement analyst senior advisor to join the supply chain management teamThis position will be responsible for sourcing and executing strategic procurements that are aligned with enterprise strategies and objectives.
*this role is a fully remote opportunity.*
Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Purchasing for both indirect and direct products and services, with a focus on servers and storage.
Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon gdit supply chain by its customers, the federal acquisition regulations (far), and leveraging the market strength of gdit, recognizing market conditions, and striving to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.
Working with supplier agreements
Completing procurement documentation in accordance with compliance standards.
Assisting in the monitoring and assignment of incoming procurement requirements.
Ensures high internal customer satisfaction.
Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible.
To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
Bachelors degree with 12 years related experience, or 16 years’ related experience in lieu of the degree.
Familiarity with the federal acquisition regulation
Knowledge of federal, state and local statutes, laws, rules, and regulations related to governmental purchasing programs, competitive bidding processes, and procurement management
Experience understanding agreements
Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data
Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently
Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently
Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process
Knowledge of microsoft office
It would be great if you also had:
Experience with buying servers and storage
Experience with buying cisco
Experience negotiating agreements
Experience with leasing
Experience with procuring data centers services.
Proven track record of gaining efficiencies through process improvement and automation
Knowledge of ifs and oracle source to pay
