Role description
The sales manager, walmart team sales and logistics leader is responsible for growing the genomma lab business (by brand and category) at walmart, inc(walmart, sam’s club, walmart.com)
Responsible for the coordination with genomma lab usa supply chain leadership and execution of business plans to grow sales, share and improve sales fundamentals in accordance to the commercial and brand strategies.
With walmart team leader, build a productive, multi-level relationship with the walmart hq team (dmm, buyers, and operations personnel) which creates a competitive advantage for our brands
Responsible for coordination of our genomma us e-commerce team effort and activation against walmart.com
With walmart team leader, responsible for development of comprehensive trade promotion plans, including feature and customer marketing.
Professional profile
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, in business, marketing, it or engineering
4+ years of professional experience in consumer packaged goods sales, including experience at major, national retailer.
Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities with short deadlines and maintain a high level of quality output
Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and facilitate discussions with all levels of management
Demonstrated capability in business analytics and experience with iri, nielsen or similar databases.
Experience with walmart replenishment systems preferred
Proficient in ms office (ppt, excel, word, etc.)
Leadership profile
Strategic and analytical thinking to develop solutions and effective actions that lead us to win in the market place
Strong leadership to gain alignment and support from top management and the team
Entrepreneur profile that can quickly implement the actions that lead us to win decisively
Reporting lines
Reports to the walmart team leader and works cross-functionally with marketing directors, supply chain, and finance
Other desirable experience
Sales and logistics experience, preferably at walmart and/or sam’s club
Experience developing winning in-store plans
Demonstrated track record of success in delivering annual targets
Experience in e-commerce
Must reside or be willing to relocate to the bentonville, ar area
