The sales data analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of group purchasing organization (gpo) and integrated delivery network contracts (idn)The position prepares and provides standard contract reports such as gpo sales, pricing/margin analysis, request for proposal submission data, and ad-hoc reporting requirements for corporate accountsThe position requires experience in sales reporting, strategic pricing and margin analysis, and should have demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and external customers to influence the direction of other internal and external stakeholdersThe position reports to the supervisor pricing data analytics.
Position details
Maintain databases to track gpo/idn monthly contracted sales reporting process.
Process accurate payment of administrative fees to gpo’s on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Manage field sales inquiries regarding gpo affiliation, gpo pricing, and quote validation.
Work collaboratively with the customer service groups on price loads and discrepancy resolution.
Manage relationships with contracted vendors; this includes quote validation, price validation.
Partner with the membership analyst team to validate and process letters of commitment (locs) from idns and gpos.
Interface with the sales, marketing, service, supply chain, and corporate account management teams to ensure the successful launch and marketing of new products and contracts; track performance and assist in the development and launch of group buys and promos for current contracts.
Work closely with corporate accounts, it and srContract analysts to understand business needs, to identify, develop and implement enhancements for reporting and analytical deliverables.
Qualifications
Bachelor`s degree in finance or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
A minimum of 2 years of related experience in a sales support or finance position, which includes direct data analysis experience.
Experience in data analysis and/or reporting in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is a plus but not required
Able to synthesize various, independently generated, data points into cohesive reports.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and critical thinking skills.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
An independent worker who is detail oriented, accurate and able to achieve deadlines.
Experience with sales-related software applications such as sap, cognos.
Advanced skills in microsoft excel and accessIntermediate skills in word and outlook
