Job title: buyer

Must have skills:
- process execution including procurement, material status update and expediting
- support planning team as required
- work with suppliers proactively to meet sourcing metrics
- support root cause analysis including tier 2 & tier 3 to close supply issues
- directly interact with suppliers, coordinate issue resolution
- build supplier relationships and drive on time delivery performance
- drive improvement initiatives - process simplification
- reporting and analysis leveraging sap instance
- must be open to travel as the position requires on-site visits to suppliers to build relationships and drive delivery performance
