Responsibilities: position summary: this role supports and manages powersports accessory development projects from the new model purchasing and business data viewpoint, collaborating with new model engineers, sales, planning and supply partners to bring new accessory product offerings to our customers in parallel with new vehicle release.
Essential duties: (this list is not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned)
This work will include driving the individual progress of many (~50) parts across multiple projects, project milestones, and multiple vendors to meet desired in warehouse dates.
Be responsible for collecting, validating, and cataloging cad data and 2d drawings from our vendors.
Qualifications:
Understanding and experience with advanced excel functions including macros.
Bs degree in ie/meEngineer with over 5 years of experience, or 6 years of related experience may be substituted for required degree.
Familiar with automotive or related industry hard part development process.
Experience with management of business data for individual parts through their development lifecycle with focus on the purchasing process and project management.
Must have basic catia v5 experience with ability to check part clearances in 3d, and create and edit 2d drawings.
Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to keep track of part changes on a daily basis.
Must be flexible and able to handle a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and broad responsibilities.
Must have demonstrated expert experience using ms excel and powerpoint as effective data tracking and communication tools.
Must be able to drive activity forward when step-by-step instructions are not available by considering the overall goal and using logic.
Knowledge of powersports product is a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Prior management experience preferred.
Prior training experience preferred.
