The opportunity
Gravy analytics is seeking a talented qa / integration test developer to join our core platform team.
Responsibilities:
Understand the current layout of the platform which includes many different projects and design / build out a full platform integration test framework to incorporate all the various projects.
Work to develop and mentor the team on best practices related to unit and integration testing.
Identify areas for improvements in performance and efficiency.
Help to identify areas of the platform that are lacking in test coverage automatically via build tooling and lead in the development to rectify those shortcomings.
As we reach our goals for test coverage across the platform there will be opportunities to take part in development outside of qa and creating tests
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in test development for multi project platforms.
Knowledge of aws for setting up ci/cd infrastructure for large integration tests is a plus.
Good problem solving and analytical skills.
You can demonstrate to us that you have good git skills.
You will have experience with different languages, including scripting languages, which allow you to put the right tool to the task.
Basic knowledge of docker.
Experience with automation tools such as jenkins.
Demonstrated ability to quickly and efficiently break down a larger project to smaller tasks, and handle multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
You are capable of taking a basic description of what is needed, analyzing it and asking the right questions to generate a detailed specification of the software requirements.
