Essential job functions and responsibilities

Leadership and supervisory
Responsible for performance and coaching of staff and has a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development and performance management
Provides training to team members and business analysts across the organization
Assist the pmo director with the maturation of the business analyst team through best practice and appropriate staffing and management
Ensure that strategic initiatives are properly supported by the business analyst team through the coordination of staff.
Business analysis
Design and implement standards aligned to iiba best practices; manage a central repository of template and tools that are approved for effective business analysis
Build a strong working relationship with team members business and it partners to aide in effective project execution
Aids pmo in providing business analyst assistance during times of high demand.
In collaboration with the project managers and pmo supervisor, ensure that user acceptance testing is planned and appropriately executed
Handle business and project issues proactively and escalate them appropriately
Develop and manage relationships with relevant stakeholders and their respective requests for analysis
Work in close collaboration with the business relationship management team and pmo director to understand the prioritization of analysis and discovery projects

Job profile
Education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Field of study: information technology, business or related discipline
Experience:
7 to 10 years of related experience, including 0 to 2 years of leadership experience.
