Job summary:
Facilitates cross-channel communication between operations, sales, transportations, and key management groupsReviews large orders to ensure all bom is available for assemblyCommunicates and manages inventory availability by plant specific variety to sales teamShares information with multiple departments to bring everything together so there is one vehicle of communication.
Job duties/task:
Communicate large orders in advance to facility team for planning of labor
Alert facility manager, packaging label clerk and shipping team of same day customer changes for awareness
Works with operations, transportation, and sales to level load packaging by day during peak times
Gate keeper for concerning order cut off times and approval for additions
Communicate with sales team regarding product availability and sold-out items
Works with demand planning, product captains and sales to develop monthly forecast
Updates and communicates monthly sales plan
Monitor customers to ensure product availability
Communicates the cat1 and watercolor plan to green house
Coordinates with buy in group when supplemental volume is needed to meet demand
Coordinate e-commerce unit demand with operations
Meet with product captains weekly to review state of each crop
Coordinate approval of donation requests
Requirements:
Bachelors degree preferred
Proficient in microsoft office suite including word and excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exemplary math and analytical skills
Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
Ability to collaborate and maintain effective working relationships
Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgment
Cross functional communication and problem-solving skills between several departments to achieve gcg desired results
