Job description
The resource will be analyzing the busRequirements and user stories in jira and prepare automated test scripts and execute them thru readyapi, he/she will be responsible for the api testing and reporting anomalies (bugs)Support the teams on various end-end test scenarios and validate the fulfillment for user storiesThe qa engineer will also contribute to the automation of the project to ensure we regress the data on a regular cadence and maintain high quality data for our users
Job responsibilities
Embrace team processes and standards for api testing.
Identify the test scenarios based on user stories, functional and non-functional requirements.
Create test scripts in ready api & test rails.
Automate the test scenarios thru ready api
Write sql scripts to extract data from various databases and systems and compare against
Perform sql scripting for complex sql validation and testing
Co-ordinate with po and devs
Coordinates with other team members as needed
Reports defects identified while testing
Completes the assigned tasks in a timely fashion
Works in a fast-paced agile environment
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering required
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Good understanding of apis and scripting.
Prefer backend & api testing experience
Experience in complex apis integrations and end to end flows with web and mobile
Strong understanding of a at least a object-oriented programming language (java/c#/python)
Experience in testing sql and no sql databases
Experience in
Testing apis by passing the data and integration of multiple apis
In-depth knowledge of qa engineering concepts and implement them in day-to-day functioning
Validate sql stored procedures and able to write complex queries
Solid understanding of agile methodologies
Perform other duties as assigned
