Greenleaf is expanding rapidly and is seeking a logistics coordinator with at least 2 years of existing logistics experience.
The primary purpose of the drayage and trucking logistics coordinator position is to manage both drayage and trucking shipments, shipper and carrier communication, problem-solving and order managementThe position requires working with drayage shipments, communicating with ship lines and rail yards, and ability to multi task under pressure.
Responsibilities
Daily management and coordination of all container shipments
Establish and coordinate container schedule with carrier and tender shipments
Source drayage carriers and negotiate rates
Track and trace all container shipments
Handle all container invoicing and document collection
Qualifications
Previous container experience required
Previous experience or familiarity with ltl, full truckload, rail
Ability to manage heavy volume of emails
Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage time effectively as this is fast paced and busy
Driven, enthusiastic and highly motivated
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results
Strong ability to persuade, motivate and influence others
